Healthy Easter

#Radelaide has set you up this year.

Easter 2016 does not have to be full of refined sugary desserts (well not for the whole weekend anyway).

Little Adelaide is filled with little places where you can get your hands on some real treats.

Below is a list of 4 places that have created some serious yummies.

#1 Nettle Raw Cafe

They had two little Easter goodies. Their raw Easter eggs and hot X bun’s.

I was so impressed with their Hot X buns.
Usually I am one for the heated up versions with a smear of butter. However once you go raw you can never go back… well with Hot X bun’s anyway.

They were so fragrant with such a beautiful texture.
Not overpowering at all, nor did they get stuck to the roof of your mouth like some raw treats can.
It’s pretty clear I was a fan and I am 100% sure you will be.
Unfortunately they are closed for the rest of the Easter weekend- however PLEASE do yourself a favour next year and try them out.
Or even head in there to try out some of their other raw treats.

They may not replace your addiction with your toasted ones but they sure are an incredible alternative.
PLUS the eggs are a cute addition too- and they were a perfect Easter Friday treat after a big beach walk.

#2 Rawfection

I was a fan once and it happened again.

Thank you Rawfection for making my Raw Hot X Bun addiction even more profound.

Once again these were delicious.
They had a little more nutmeg and mixed spice than Nettle Raw’s leaving you with a slightly less sweet after taste. Which is incredibly nice after all the sugary treats you have over Easter.

Rawfection is a new raw food destination in the Adelaide Central Market. They have everything from chia bowls, raw slices and raw donuts.
Practically anything you are looking for when you want a cheeky healthy treat.

#3 Goodies and Grains

If you are like me and have a slight addiction to healthy alternatives you will most likely be a fan of Goodies and Grains in the Adelaide Central Market.

Their Facebook and Instagram posts get me too excited as they are generally filled with new and innovative ways to nourish your body in a less refined but healthy way.

Once again their post of their Easter Box was too tempting to say no. It consisted of 4 little novelty raw shaped eggs, one caramel easter egg and a raw chocolate hot cross bun.

Well well well….
Yes they were amazing and yes I ate the whole box.
The chocolate was perfect- It didn’t melt straight away which a lot of raw chocolate can do. The caramel tasted real which blew me away and the Hot X bun….  lets just say it was well worth the money.

I will go back next year and I will be holding out for their Easter posts so I can see what is in their new box!

Definitely take a trip in and grab lunch or a treat if you every get the chance- well worth it!

# 4 Combi

How amazing do they look?

I wasn’t lucky enough to get my hands on these bad boys however they have provided you with a healthy alternative which looks mouth watering.
And absolutely adorable in the little box (perfect Easter gift)!

I will be visiting Combi this week to get some insight to the goodies their lovely cafe provides.
